Biography
Mandie is a Chartered Accountant with a passion for training and development. Mandie has achieved her Higher Certificate in Education, Training and Development with the University of Johannesburg and is a qualified Assessor and Moderator.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (SA) with PricewaterhouseCoopers, she remained with the firm as an audit manager in the Multinational division where she was also involved in the induction of SAICA trainees, roll out of audit methodology training and presentation of legislative and IFRS updates. She then got the opportunity to join the Large Business Centre division of SARS as the Learning and Development Manager, where she was responsible for training the Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town offices.
Her main focus at SARS was skills gap analysis, designing and developing training material and facilitating training programs for staff.
Mandie was also involved in the training, coaching and mentoring of SAICA trainees within the SARS CA Training Program.
Mandie developed and conducted in-house leadership development training programs, facilitating soft-issues for example personal mastery, change management, communication, coaching skills, team leadership, and performance management.
Mandie is a Tall Trees Facilitator and believes that knowing yourself is key for personal development and therefore find it rewarding to assist people in the process of self discovery. She enjoys facilitating the change that this tool realise in people's lives and strive to use this tool in realising her vision of assisting people to reach their full potential.
Mandie is currently a freelance presenter for ProBeta on SAICA training contract products and Tall Tree workshops. She is a registered SAICA Assessor and enjoys being involved with the development and mentoring of trainees.
