Calling all SAICA training offices with their intake of new trainees. SAICA training contracts are both an exciting opportunity for new recruits who are seeking to gain CA / AGA accreditation, as well as, a MAJOR stress point if trainees are not well-informed as to their rights and responsibilities under the training contract / regulations.
The SAICA Trainee Induction course consists of three sessions, and the objective is to journey with trainees through the new CA2025 Competency Framework and Assessment Process, as they look to establish themselves in a new professional work environment.
The objective of this session is to introduce the accounting profession to trainees and navigate trainees through the latest SAICA Training Regulations and highlight the important sections applicable to them that could have an impact on their training contract journey.
This session tackles what the duties of a trainee are in relation to their training contract.
Furthermore, as part of introducing trainees to the profession, this session covers the regulatory bodies such as SAICA and IRBA, and what the differences are between the two, and what is needed to qualify as a CA / AGA (SA).
